What to expect from E3 2021

E3 2021 will take place from June 12 to June 15, 2021. Indeed, this year E3 will take place remotely. The Electronic Entertainment Exposition , also called "ikioube" or "ifri", is the largest video game fair and is held every year in Los Angeles in the United States. The most influential players in gaming are there: video game professionals, journalists and gamers .

Between conferences, sharing and passion, E3 2021 still promises great things.

1. THE RETURN OF E3

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, E3 2020 was canceled but this year this show is making a comeback and will take place entirely online. Dates, schedule of conferences and novelties of this E3 2021 show have all been revealed. Here's what to remember from this 2021 edition .

THE LARGEST 100% ONLINE VIDEO GAMES EXHIBITION

The E3, the biggest video game show, will be 100 online this year but the organizers have not skimped on the program and offer top news and conferences. Note that this year the number of participants who have already confirmed is reduced with a particularly renowned exhibitor who will not be there (Konami).

2. What are the major conferences of this E3 2021?

Many conferences are scheduled for E3 2021 , including: the Nintendo conference, the Microsoft conference but also the PC Gaming Show, the future Games show, the devolver Digital, the Square Enix, the Wholesome Games, etc.

THE NINTENDO CONFERENCE?

• No official announcement yet but Nintendo should be present

We don't yet know the precise date of the Nintendo Direct for E2 2021 allowing us to discover the new features, including the new visuals of The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild 2, the eagerly awaited Nintendo Switch pro, but also of Metroid Prime 4. You will therefore have to be a little patient.

• Undoubtedly presentation of the new Nintendo Switch Pro

Indeed, we are all waiting for the presentation of the new Nintendo Switch Pro which promises much more power and an OLED screen .

THE MICROSOFT CONFERENCE

To follow up on the acquisition of the game studio Bethesda , Microsoft should present 2 separate conferences to follow to present its new games and highlight the Xbox Series .

Indeed, a 90-minute conference is confirmed by Microsoft on Sunday June 13 at 7 p.m. (French time). The opportunity for the group to present the new titles that will be available on Xbox and therefore the Xbox Game Pass catalog.

In addition to all these great announcements, this conference will provide an overview of the new games currently in production at Xbox and Bethesda. Hopefully the following: Age Of Empires IV, Microsoft Flight Simulator on console, Avowed, Senua's or Project.

As you know, this is Microsoft's first joint conference with Bethesda since the acquisition of the latter last March for 7.5 billion dollars. The joint Bethesda and Microsoft conference is therefore not to be missed, so take note on June 13 at 7 p.m. to find out more.

PC GAMING SHOW

E3 2021 does not forget anyone so for all PC gamers the PC Gaming Show will be organized with the presentation of the latest PC releases as well as hardware. The PC Gaming Show will be held on Sunday, June 13 and will showcase the new titles.

STILL NO SONY BOYCOATING E3

It will cause many disappointments but this year Sony will not be present at E3 and therefore we will not have the brand new details of the PlayStation 5. Indeed, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) , announced in January 2021 its no -presence at E3 2021.
